What to expect
Expect a structured introduction: the first part covers theory indoors, where your instructor walks you through how to use and care for each piece of kit. You'll learn breathing techniques and basic underwater signals before entering the sea. The dive itself is unhurried—your instructor stays with you the entire time, monitoring your comfort and technique. Thirty to forty minutes allows you to acclimate to the underwater environment without fatigue. After surfacing, you'll receive a certificate recognising your participation.
