What to expect
You'll meet at Mooball for a pre-ride briefing where the e-bike is set up and the navigation app explained. Then you head out alone, following GPS directions through a mix of sealed rail trail, country lanes, and forested sections. The rail trail includes heritage tunnels (lights provided) and old bridges. Terrain shifts from hinterland farmland to rainforest as you approach Tumbulgum and Husk Farm. The ride is moderately paced; e-bike assist takes the strain out of climbs. At the distillery, you can rest, browse the grounds, and book a tasting if you fancy it.
Good to know
Bring your own water bottle. Distillery tastings aren't included—book ahead if interested. Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular fitness, or are pregnant. Weight limit 120kg, minimum height 155cm. Optional shuttle back to Mooball saves the return ride if you're tired.
