Soar above Lake Annecy's turquoise waters and Alpine slopes on a tandem paragliding flight with an experienced pilot. You'll be shuttled from Doussard base to the Col de la Forclaz launch point, then spend roughly an hour gliding over some of France's most dramatic terrain. Weather permitting, you'll catch views across the entire lake basin and surrounding peaks—a perspective reserved for those brave enough to step off a mountain.

What to expect

Report to Doussard base 15 minutes early. A minibus carries you uphill to Col de la Forclaz, where you'll kit up with helmet and harness. Your pilot will brief you on takeoff and landing. The jump itself is a controlled stride into air—adrenaline peaks fast, then settles as thermal winds lift you higher. You'll circle lazily, watching the lake shrink below. Landing back at Doussard is smooth. Bring sunglasses; the glare off water is intense at altitude.
