What to expect

After a safety briefing and kit check, you'll push off into the Giffre and build into rhythm on moderate rapids whilst absorbing the valley's sheer rock faces. The Gorges des Tines—runnable only when water levels cooperate—squeezes you between towering granite; expect genuine exposure and spray but nothing unmanageable. Between sections, the pace slackens and you'll have chances to swim, wade or leap from rocks if the mood takes. The full outing runs roughly two and a half hours on water.

Good to know

Children must be at least 6 and able to swim. Not suitable if pregnant or with significant cardiovascular concerns. Bring a towel and dry clothes. No food or drink provided; bring your own. Public transport reaches the area.
