What to expect
Expect a full-day loop with three main stops, each requiring short walks from the car. Banyumala involves a trek down to the cascade through dense vegetation; wear sturdy shoes and bring a towel if you plan to swim. The temple at Ulundanu is compact but busy, best photographed early or late. Jatiluwih rewards a stop at the ridge viewpoint for wide vistas of stepped fields.
