What to expect
You'll board at Agay Bay and motor out to the reserve's clearest sections. The water is cool but manageable in the supplied wetsuits. Your guide enters the water with you, pointing out grouper, bream, octopus and the underwater topography that makes Cap Roux special. Expect 60–90 minutes in the water across one or two locations, with a safety briefing beforehand. The pace is unhurried; snorkelling happens at the surface, no diving required.
Good to know
Not suitable if you have spinal issues, poor heart health, or are pregnant. Trains and buses reach Agay station. Bring a towel and old shoes (rocky entry). Tipping is not included. Minimum fitness is fine; the guide adjusts to your comfort level.
