What to expect
Each morning begins with yoga before breakfast. Mornings and afternoons rotate between guided activities: temple visits (including Besakih, Bali's largest sanctuary), cooking classes where you prep ingredients and eat what you make, guided treks through working rice paddies, and a rafting session on flowing water. Evenings have meditation and dinner. You'll have spa vouchers to book your own massage slots. Accommodation is at the retreat base; all transport to activities is sorted. The pace is deliberate—plenty of downtime for rest or exploring the resort grounds. Expect to move slowly through Balinese culture rather than tick boxes.
Good to know
Not suitable if you have spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, or are pregnant. Infant seats available; prams work on-site. Service animals welcome. All fitness levels catered for, though rafting and trekking require basic mobility. Airport transfers outside retreat dates cost extra. Bring sunscreen and water shoes.
