What to expect
Expect a full day of stop-start photography at six or seven key spots. You'll be driven between locations in an air-conditioned vehicle with time to pose, explore and swim at each site. The Lempuyang climb is a short walk uphill; the swing and waterfall sections allow you to get wet, so bring a change of clothes. Midday heat is intense. Your guide will explain the spiritual significance of each temple and how local communities maintain these spaces. Lunch is not provided, so either pack snacks or budget for roadside warungs.
