Highlights
- Manta ray encounters at Manta Bay, no guarantee but good odds
- Three distinct snorkelling zones with varied marine habitats
- Devil's Tear: waves versus reflective pools depending on swell
- Village car tour of Dream Beach and seaweed cultivation
- Fastboat crossing with hotel pickup from Kuta to Nusa Dua
What to expect
You'll start with early pickup (08:30 AM from Sanur harbour) and a 30-minute fastboat crossing to Lembongan. Three snorkelling stops follow, each with different seabed profiles—walls, mangroves, and open water. Manta sightings aren't guaranteed; rays move seasonally. Between water time, you'll tour the island by car, stopping at two key viewpoints and a functional seaweed farm where locals harvest and dry kelp. Lunch happens beachside. Expect basic snorkelling conditions: warm tropical water, decent visibility on calm days, crowds during peak season.
Good to know
Non-swimmers can participate with provided safety gear and guide supervision. Manta sightings depend on tides and weather—April to November sees higher encounter rates. Bring cash for extras. Not suitable if pregnant, with spinal injuries, or cardiovascular concerns. Free transfers cover south Bali beaches; north areas incur 400,000 IDR surcharge.
