About this tour
A 10–12 hour loop through Bali's most recognisable temples and landscapes. You'll visit Tanah Lot, where the temple rises from black rock into sea spray, then move inland to Batu Bolong's clifftop shrine and the lakeside Ulun Danu Temple on Beratan. - Jatiluwih terraces: UNESCO World Heritage farming landscape
- Air-conditioned private transport throughout full day
What to expect
You'll start early and travel in a comfortable private vehicle, stopping at each site to walk around, photograph and absorb the views. Tanah Lot and Batu Bolong are dramatic coastal shrines where crowds gather, especially near sunset; arrive mentally prepared for other visitors. The inland section—Beratan, Yeh Ho and Jatiluwih—offers quieter moments among mist-wrapped mountains and cultivated hills. Walking distances are moderate but uneven; wear supportive footwear. The day involves significant driving and several temple precincts to explore on foot, so pace yourself.
Good to know
Bring sunscreen, a hat and sturdy shoes suitable for wet rocks near waterfalls. Dress respectfully at temples (covered shoulders and knees). Not suitable if you have spinal issues, pregnancy, or heart concerns. Lunch is not included—eat before departure or pack provisions. Gratuities are extra.
