What to expect
You'll start with a guided stroll through working vineyards and fields, stopping to rest and drink in the shade of a mature oak. From there, the group moves to the vinsantaia—the cellar where wines age traditionally—and past a collection of farming equipment that shows how things were done generations ago. The tasting follows: eight wines, mostly regional DOCG and IGT designations, each paired thoughtfully. Vernaccia comes first, then rosé and Chianti, finishing with Vin Santo alongside biscuits. Between pours, you'll nibble cheese, prosciutto and local salamis cut fresh, plus crunchy vegetables straight from the garden beds.
