What to expect

You'll be picked up and driven between four locations, spending roughly 1.5 to 2 hours at each. At Tegenungan, expect crowds and shallow pools ideal for swimming; bring a towel. The monkey forest is dense jungle with stone pathways—monkeys are habituated to people but keep valuables secured. Tegalalang's terraces require steady walking on uneven ground, though the views reward the effort.
