What to expect

Your guide collects you and drives to the luwak coffee plantation first, where you'll learn how civets process beans and taste the resulting brew. Next is Tegalalang's emerald rice terraces—you'll walk through working paddies and photograph from elevated viewpoints. Mid-afternoon brings Tegenungan Waterfall; many visitors wade in the cool water. If you've booked the monkey forest, expect close encounters with macaques in their natural habitat—your guide advises on safe interaction. Good to know

Admission fees for monkey forest (IDR 100,000), rice terraces (IDR 10,000), and waterfall (IDR 20,000) are extra. The optional swing at the river pool costs IDR 200,000 per person. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a light rain jacket. Not suitable if you have spinal injuries. Infants sit on a parent's lap; meals aren't included.
