What to expect

Expect a full day of vehicle time balanced with site exploration. You'll start at Tegalalang's iconic paddies—familiar from postcards but best experienced on foot amongst the stalks. The three waterfalls differ markedly: Tukad Cepung rewards a short walk through a cavern, Tibumana has deeper pools ideal for cooling off, and Kanto Lampo offers dramatic stepped rock. Tracks can be muddy and uneven; wear proper footwear. The farm visit is leisurely, a chance to sit and drink whilst learning how local coffee and herbal remedies are made. The majority of your 10 hours involves driving between spots spread across the region.

Good to know

Bring swimming gear and a change of clothes; most waterfalls have water deep enough to dive. Lunch isn't provided—eat beforehand or pack snacks. The tour isn't suitable if you have back problems, are pregnant, or have cardiovascular concerns. Waterfall trails can be slippery and steep in places; reasonable fitness helps but isn't essential.
