What to expect

You'll be collected from your accommodation (South Bali or Ubud locations only) and driven inland on narrow back roads toward Bangli. The initial climb to Pura Kehen requires respect—cover knees and shoulders, remove shoes—but rewards you with the temple's preserved Hindu structures and courtyards. From there, the vehicle rolls through agricultural valleys with glimpses of Mount Agung before reaching Tirta Gangga's manicured pools and terraces. Lunch is a straightforward local meal in a restaurant perched above the strait. The afternoon leg hugs the coast past dark-sand beaches and fishing settlements before returning you home by evening.

Good to know

Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses essential—cloud cover won't protect you. Dress modestly for temple entry; bright colours and beach wear aren't permitted. The vehicle has no air conditioning. Protect cameras and phones from dust and spray. Dietary requests should be noted early, though the fixed restaurant may have limitations. Tour doesn't run on Nyepi (dates change yearly).
