What to expect

You'll hike rocky paths anchored by metal ropes and bolts—some routes hug exposed cliff faces where the rope steadies your movement, others follow steeper rock walls where you actively use the fixed line to pull yourself upward. The guide will route you according to your ability and the day's conditions. Expect varied terrain: easier ferrata paths keep you on ground with overhead protection, whilst intermediate stretches demand climbing technique and arm strength.
