About this tour
Float past Sydney's illuminated landmarks aboard a 26-person catamaran during Vivid Sydney Festival. The 90-minute Kirralee cruise departs from Pier 2, Walsh Bay, offering close-range views of the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Luna Park as buildings transform into moving light installations. Indoor and outdoor decks let you chase the best angles, whilst antipasto and a cold drink are included. Bring your own alcohol if you fancy it.

- Intimate 26-person catamaran for uncluttered sightseeing
- Close shoreline access to lit-up monuments

What to expect
You'll board at Walsh Bay and head into the harbour as darkness falls. The Kirralee sits low enough to frame buildings against the water, and with fewer than 30 people aboard, you won't be wedged shoulder-to-shoulder. The light show unfolds gradually as you cruise—projections, installations and architectural lighting synchronise with sound. Bring a camera: the reflections on the water are the best light-show photography you'll get without a dedicated photo boat. The vessel has a toilet onboard, and there's a speaker system if someone wants to queue songs. Dress warmly; you'll be out on deck most of the time, and harbour breezes are real.
Good to know
Arrive 15–20 minutes early at the wharf; the boat cannot wait for latecomers. Walsh Bay is busy during Vivid, so allow extra travel time. Look for a Sea Sydney Harbour rep near the pier to check you in. The cruise runs in all weather, so pack layers. Prams and infant seats are available.
