What to expect

You'll start with a safety rundown and gear check before launching onto the Ayung. The paddle mixes calmer stretches with genuine whitewater sections—some require sharp attention to guide commands, especially in season when flows climb to Class IV. Between rapids, drift past working rice fields and small shrines tucked into the banks. A break halfway includes lunch. After rafting, you'll visit a monkey reserve (keep belongings secure) then head to Tanah Lot, the dramatic sea-cliff temple. The full day is physical but manageable if you're comfortable in a boat and can follow instructions closely.
