A seven-and-a-half-hour exploration of two hilltop villages in Provence's Alpilles region, centred on tasting local wines and oils with a knowledgeable guide. What to expect

You'll travel by minibus between two characterful villages, stopping at working wine and oil producers. At each stop, expect a brief walkthrough of production methods followed by tastings—wines first, oils afterward. The villages themselves warrant exploration on foot: narrow lanes, stone buildings, and local shops. Tastings are generous but unhurried; guides explain flavour profiles without sales pressure. Terrain is hilly in places; cobblestones are uneven. The day moves at a steady pace with natural pauses for questions and photos.

Bring sturdy walking shoes, hat, sunscreen and your own water bottle. Lunch isn't included; eat before or pack supplies. Public transport is nearby if you need alternatives.
