What to expect
Your guide will walk you through several neighbourhood tasting venues, pouring alongside explanations of each wine's origin and character. Expect to spend 15–20 minutes at each stop, swirling and sipping while absorbing details about Alsatian varieties—Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc and others. The tastings progress from lighter to richer styles, building your palate as you go. The atmosphere stays relaxed and conversational; this isn't a formal lecture but a working knowledge of what makes these wines distinctive.
