About this tour
Dive the USS Liberty, a World War II cargo ship now teeming with marine life, in Tulamben's clear waters. This nine-hour shore-based excursion suits certified divers of any experience level, from freshly qualified to seasoned explorers. You'll complete two dives from the beach with a qualified guide, collect your gear from our office, and return to your hotel with lunch and photos in hand. What to expect
Meet your guide at our office for check-in and a health questionnaire. After a light refreshment, you'll drive two hours north to Tulamben village. The first dive departs from the beach; you'll descend gradually onto the Liberty's hull, exploring coral-draped holds and railings swarming with snappers and groupers. Surface for a break, then head back down for a second dive, perhaps focusing on macro subjects or the superstructure. You'll finish by early afternoon, change into dry clothes, eat a proper meal, and head back to your accommodation.
Good to know
Bring your certification card and a towel—neither is provided. Avoid flying within 24 hours of diving. Weather can force a reschedule or location swap. Vegetarian and vegan meals available on request. Certain medical conditions (heart, asthma, spinal issues) may disqualify you; check with your doctor beforehand.
