What to expect
After hotel collection, you'll travel to Tulamben on Bali's quiet northeast coast. Your instructor will brief you on breathing underwater, equalising ear pressure, and basic safety signals—no prior certification needed. Your first dive is shallow and unhurried, letting you adjust to the underwater environment. The USAT Liberty wreck sits in shallow water colonised by vibrant corals and fish. You'll complete a second dive to explore deeper sections and spot larger marine life. Expect 30–40 minutes of actual water time per dive, with surface intervals for rest and refuelling.
